The complete guide
Getting the fit right on Littles & Bloomz's p0406 nappy
Switching to reusables is less about buying every product on day one and more about building a routine that fits your family.
Start with a small stash, not the full set
Most parents begin with 15–20 nappies in rotation, which is usually enough for one to be drying while another is on your baby and a third is in the wash bucket. You can add more — or a second brand, if you want to compare fastenings — once you know what suits your baby's shape.
The wash routine that keeps you stocked
A nappy wash roughly every one to two days, on a warm or hot cycle without fabric softener, keeps a stash of 15–20 nappies in rotation without ever running out. Air-drying or a low tumble cycle both work; direct sun is a natural way to lift staining if you're line-drying.
